Registration for Paediatric Rare Disease Conference now open

The British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) in collaboration with Birmingham Children’s Hospital are hosting their second Rare Disease Conference at the hospital in Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham, on Monday 27 February.

Called From bench to bedside – new treatments for children with rare disease, the conference will focus on developments in new treatments in paediatrics, from inception to delivery.

Presentations will consider the challenges of developing new treatments for rare diseases and the hurdles standing in the way of delivering these to those who most need them. Speakers include Dr Gina Radford, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England and Ben Howlett MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on rare, genetic and undiagnosed conditions.
